SCOPE OF WORK

  • Create the Lifestyle Research Lab as an internal innovation incubator, defining its mission, vision, processes, and organization

  • Establish and manage Lifestyle Research Labs in Silicon Valley, London, Beijing, Singapore, São Paulo, and Delhi

  • Evangelize foresight-based strategic opportunities at a corporate level

  • Drive human-centered innovation strategy into product development, design, and marketing/communications

  • Deep-dive reports on global lifestyle shifts.
    Sample subjects: The Changing Family, The Home of the Future, Asian Food Cultures, What’s for Breakfast?, The Future Kitchen, Health @ Home.

  • Ongoing lifestyle research to anticipate new behaviors, attitudes, and needs. Areas of focus: Socio-Cultural Shifts, Home Design, Cooking and Food Culture, Health / Wellness / Fitness, Leisure & Entertainment, Technology Interest & Adoption, Media Consumption & Creation. 

  • Annual trend forecasts, reporting global mega-trends and key areas of opportunity for Samsung business units
